When you hire me as a Dutch UGC creator, you get a finished, edited talking-head video made by one real person, in Dutch or English, delivered within 7 working days of an approved brief. You also get clear usage rights (12 months on your own channels) and one revision round. Here is what that looks like in practice, step by step, so nothing is a surprise.
It starts with your brief, not with my camera
Before I film anything I need to know three things: who the video is for, what that person should do after watching, and what you absolutely cannot say. A short brief is fine. A long one is fine too. What matters is that the product, the audience and the one thing you want people to remember are written down somewhere. If you have never written one, step 2 of my guide on how to hire a UGC creator walks you through it.
I read it, and if something does not add up I ask. Most of my questions are small ones: is this for Meta ads or for your product page, do you want a hard sell or something softer, is there a competitor you do not want mentioned. Ten minutes of back and forth here saves a revision later.
The product arrives, I actually use it
You ship the product to me, or we agree on something else if it is digital or very large. I try it before I film. This sounds obvious, but you can hear the difference between someone who read the product page and someone who actually used the thing. I have made videos for brands in home, kitchen, beauty, kids and lifestyle, and the pattern is always the same: the details I mention in the video are the ones I noticed myself.

In the Slaapwijzer.net video above you see the basic talking-head format: one person speaking straight to the camera. That is the default for a reason. It looks like something a real customer would post, and it is quick to produce.
Script and hooks
I write the script myself based on your brief and send it for a quick look before I shoot. Every video has a hook, the first two or three seconds that decide whether anyone keeps watching. The Starter package comes with 2 hooks, so you can see which opening works better. Step Up comes with 4 hooks across the three videos. If you want to understand why I make more than one, I go into openings in my article on UGC video formats that convert.
The script is written to sound like me talking, not like your website read aloud. If a sentence feels stiff when I say it, I change it. I would rather tell you that now than hand you something that feels off.
Shoot and edit
I film wherever the product makes sense, at home, outside or on location, no studio, and I edit myself: cuts, captions, a bit of product footage where it helps. In Dutch or English, whichever the brief asks for. Starter is one language per video. Step Up includes both Dutch and English, which is handy if you sell in more than one country.
The Samako video is built differently: a problem and solution structure rather than one person talking to the camera throughout. Same process, same delivery, different script.
Delivery, one revision round, and the files
Delivery is 7 working days after we agree on the brief. You get the final video as a file you can upload straight to your own accounts, usually vertical 9:16, up to 60 seconds per video on Starter. If something needs to change, you get one revision round. Say it clearly and in one go, and I will fix it fast. A pile of small requests spread over a week is what turns a one-day fix into a two-week one.
What you are allowed to do with it
Every package includes 12 months of organic usage on your own channels: your Instagram, TikTok, website, email. Step Up and Scaler add paid usage from your own ad accounts on Meta, TikTok and YouTube for 12 months. The video is not posted on my channels in those packages. If you want that, with native ads running from my handle, that is the Creator Campaign, from €2,500. I explain the difference in my guide to usage rights and whitelisting. Prices for the standard packages are in how much UGC creators charge.
A checklist for your side of the order
| When | What you do |
|---|---|
| Before you order | Decide the goal of the video and where it will run |
| Brief | Audience, one key message, claims to avoid, language (NL or EN) |
| Product | Ship it with any usage instructions or things not to say |
| Script | Read it once, answer in one message |
| Delivery | Review the video, give all feedback in one go |
If you do those five things, the 7 working days really are 7 working days.

FAQ
What do you get when you hire a UGC creator?
You get an edited video made by a real person, usually vertical and up to 60 seconds, with a script written for your product, a hook to open it, and clear usage rights. With me that means delivery in 7 working days, one revision round and 12 months of organic usage on your own channels.
How long does it take to get a UGC video from a Dutch creator?
With me, 7 working days from an approved brief. Monthly retainer clients get a 5-day turnaround. Most delays come from late product shipping or feedback that arrives in several rounds, so send the product early.
Do I need to write a script myself?
No. A brief is enough: audience, key message, things to avoid. I write the script and send it for a quick look before I film.
Can I get the video in both Dutch and English?
Yes. The Step Up pack of 3 videos includes Dutch and English. The Starter video is in one language, either Dutch or English.
